Wow, Sue, You are also into circles, I thought I was all on my own on that one.
It's funny to me how textile artists and embroiderer's all use the artist's format of oblong/rectangular shapes to put their work into.
A circle seems a much more natural shape to me. Especially as we so often use a circular hoop to begin our work.
Do you think that we should do a circular piece as a challenge? What about trying to make something circular and then finding a way of using it?
I love your picture of the Aquilegia, beautiful. I love flowers too. I've been gardening all day.
I think that I might put a particular challenge to do with flowers, I've got a great idea but you'll have to wait till the end of June to hear all about it.
